Vladimir Enachescu is a special needs teacher at Alice Drive Middle School in Sumter, S.C. A native of Romania, he spent four years counseling war refugees while earning his bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Bucharest. Personal statement

Having enjoyed psychology-related activities in both the academic and community settings, it is with enthusiasm that I pursue a career in psychology have also interacted with a variety of clients while working for CNRR and Helsinki Committee for Refugees and also during my teaching period.
I believe that through my experiences I have become a well-rounded person while building a strong foundation for future experiences. Not only do I feel confident about my preparation in psychology, I have also earned Czech language and improved my English acquiring fluency in reading, writing, and speaking these languages. In addition, I have become proficient with computer programs such as Windows, Word Perfect, data bases, e-mail and internet
Having been involved in psychology through these various experiences has greatly enhanced my interests. I am particularly intrigued with psychological research and college instruction.

Interests and Activities

Sports
             I play soccer and tennis regularly and attend gym weekly. I believe it is important to encourage children in physical activity. I would be willing to do this through assisting and for leading Physical Education and games.
I coached the Romanian Soccer Team that has won the First Place and the League in 2006 at Sumter International Adult Soccer League (SIASL), in Sumter, South Carolina.
